单导梁桥侧喂梁法即从桥梁侧向运输、提升、横移安装预制梁板,并利用延伸后单导梁、吊车在前单导梁前端略微吊起可实现单导梁纵向过跨。与常规其他单导梁架设方法区别在于:常规单导梁架设法是从桥台后路基或桥面上运输梁板,并在架桥机尾部挂起小箱梁后利用单导梁上的配套横向移动装置移动梁板到需架设的位置,而本法却能克服因桥跨不连续或箱梁荷载过大无法从桥面上运输梁板时的困难依然能够架设梁板。
