《明儒学案》是清初著名学者黄宗羲的重要学术著作,历来被认为是一部明代学术史著作。但如果按照严格的学术史著作来要求,则此书从选材到内容,都既欠客观也欠全面。而这种不客观、不全面,并非一般意义上的粗率,更多地反映出作者对王学乃至整个明代学术史的认识。因此,笔者更愿意将其看成是反映黄宗羲个人思想的一部学术著作。本文拟从该书的编纂宗旨、人物选择、材料选择三个方面试做探讨,以就正于方家。
“Ming Confucian Case” is an important academic work by Huang Zongxi, a famous scholar in the early Qing Dynasty. It has always been regarded as a book of academic history in the Ming Dynasty. However, if the strict academic history books to request, the book from material to content, both less objective and less comprehensive. However, this kind of objectiveness, incompleteness, and non-general sense of crudeness reflects more on the author's understanding of Wang Xue and even the academic history of the Ming Dynasty. Therefore, I prefer to think of it as an academic book reflecting Huang Zongxi's personal thoughts. This article intends to explore from three aspects: the purpose of compiling the book, the choice of characters and the choice of materials.
