The Yalu River is a border river between China and North Korea and is the card for Dandong’s mother river and Dandong. It originated in the south of Baotou Mountain, the main peak of Changbai Mountain and flows through Baishan and Tonghua in Jilin Province and seventeen counties (cities and districts) in five cities of Fushun, Benxi and Dandong in Liaoning Province. The total length of 795 kilometers of the mainstream, the city 210 kilometers long. Basin area of 61,900 square kilometers, of which China’s territory of 32,500 square kilometers. The Yalu River is rich in water and has a good water quality with an average annual flow of 732 cubic meters per second (1960-1978)
