近年来,安徽省六安市经济开发区发掘了几千座战国秦汉墓葬。这些墓葬大部分保存完整,陪葬品丰富,很多墓葬有相当高的规格,而且几乎每一座完整且稍具规模的墓葬都随葬铜镜。在开发区白鹭洲墓地发掘的一座战国墓葬中,出土了一枚珍贵的六山纹铜镜。这枚六山纹铜镜,宽平素缘,镜面近平。双弦纹纽,圆圈纽座,饰羽状地纹。主纹区为顺时针方向相连的六个“山”字,字体瘦削,倾斜度很大。“山”字中间的竖画甚长,顶住镜缘,每个“山”字的外框镶有细边,
