蔡元培主政北大期间,以其“思想自由,兼容并包”的教育理念,开创了北大学术新风。他的民主、自由的治学思想,对社会公民道德意识的培养起到很大作用。如他对于国民思想的论述以及法权与人权思想的理解等等,都对当代公民道德意识产生了深远的影响。通过对蔡元培公民道德意识思想进行探讨,为培养当代公民道德意识、提升社会公民道德自觉性作有益的研究。
During his tenure as a leader of Peking University, Cai Yuanpei created a fresh atmosphere for his academic work with his educational philosophy of “freedom of thought and compatibility”. His democratic and free scholasticism plays an important role in cultivating the moral awareness of social citizens. For example, his discussion of the national thought and his understanding of the legal rights and human rights have a profound impact on the moral awareness of contemporary citizens. Through the discussion of CAI Yuan-pei’s idea of citizen’s moral consciousness, this paper conducts a useful research for cultivating contemporary citizen’s moral consciousness and enhancing the social citizen’s moral consciousness.
