去年二月,新民晚报由六个版缩减为四个版。新民晚报是四开小报,内容包括国际国内要闻、本市政治经济文教卫生报道、文艺和体育报道,加上副刊和科学卫生周刊,即使日出六版,安排版面已是捉襟见肘,颇费周章;如今版面缩减为四个,所有这些内容,都要包下,真好此“壶中容天”,困难很大。通过编辑部全体同志的努力,进一步贯彻小报小办方针,集思广益,大家想出了些办法,这些办法,经过一个时期来的实践,逐步获得了发展和巩固,也收到了初步效果。有些读者反映:“新民晚报小小四版,却是方面广,式样多,能耐看。”这是读者给我们的鼓励。我们的做法,总结起来,主要有以下四点。
Last February, Xinmin Evening News was reduced from six editions to four. The Xinmin Evening News is a tabloid of Sikong. The contents include international and domestic news, reports on the city’s political, economic and cultural health, arts and sports, and supplements and the Science and Health Weekly. Today, the layout is reduced to four, all of these contents, should be under the package, really good, “pot content” is difficult.
