全国黑荆树栽培技术讲习班分普及和提高两个班分别在浙江富阳和温州举行。1984年10月15日至11月1日,为普及讲习班,由学会委托中国林业科学研究院亚热带林业研究所、并邀请浙江省亚热带作物研究所和江西省赣州地区林业科学研究所派出从事科技研究的专业工作者12人任教。浙江、福建、江西、四川、贵州、云南、广东、广西、湖北、湖南等10个省(自治区)从事黑荆树造林、管理、科研、技术推广和栲胶厂办基地的技术人员共67人参加学习,讲授内容涉及到黑荆树的形态、生物、生态学特性;采种育苗、造林、抚育管理;采伐更新;适生条件和适生区域的划分;良种选育;主要病虫害种类及防治;丰产林技术;土壤与肥料;树木根瘤菌;几种常用的杀菌剂、杀虫剂。
