受激布里渊散射作为相位共轭的一种手段可以在保证光束质量的前提下有效地提高固体激光的功率。作者系统地介绍了光纤相位共轭的理论以及在这一领域实验研究的进展情况,并对其中的几项关键技术如控制光纤的退偏和单纵模激光器的制作等进行了讨论。
Stimulated Brillouin scattering as a means of phase conjugation can effectively improve the power of solid-state laser under the premise of ensuring the beam quality. The author systematically introduces the theory of optical fiber phase conjugation and the progress of experimental research in this field. Several key technologies are discussed, such as the control of fiber depolarization and the fabrication of single longitudinal mode lasers.
