INTRODUCTION The test methods presented here are typical of current practice. They are composed of three parts: the first part introduces the characteristics of non-working state; the second part introduces the microwave oscillator; the third part introduces the microwave amplifier. In many cases, it is neither possible nor desirable to recommend a simple test or measurement method for a given parameter, as it can vary widely depending on the amount involved or the external environment.
