研究语言与性别的关系,一般可以从两个侧面入手:一是调查两性所使用的语言,寻找言语行为上的能区别性别的特征,再研究这些特征的社会意义;二是直接研究语言体系,寻找语言对两性的刻画和体现的差异,再研究其差异的社会蕴涵。语言对两性的刻画和体现是多层面的,本文只讨论词形与词义所反映的性别歧视。
The study of the relationship between language and gender can generally start from two sides: First, the investigation of the language used by both sexes to find the behavior of speech can distinguish gender characteristics, and then study the social significance of these features; the second is to directly study the language system, Looking for the differences between the two languages portrayed and reflected by language, and then studying the social implication of the differences.
