江泽民总书记在庆祝中国共产党成立八十周年大会上的讲话中指出“时代在前进,事业在发展,党和国家对各方面人才的需求必然越来越大。要抓紧做好培养、吸引和用好各方面人才的工作”。江总书记这一重要论述,对进一步做好新时期的国税工作,具有重要的指导作用。针对目前张掖地区国税系统队伍建设的现状,我认为必须积极开展素质教育,努力造就一批复合型人才,使我区国税队伍跟上税收发展的潮流,把全区国税工作提高到一个新的水平。
