The hydrolysis of cephanone in Triton X-100 micelle and Triton X-100/n-C 5H 11 OH/H 2O(O/W) microemulsion were studied by means of UV-Vis absorption spectroscopy. The results show that compared with water, Triton X-100 micelle and Triton X-100/n-C 5H 11 OH/H 2O(O/W) microemulsion can inhibit the hydrolysis of cephanone. The inhibition effects of Triton X-100 micelle and Triton X-100/n-C 5H 11 OH/H 2O(O/W) microemulsion on the hydrolysis of cephanone are related to the location of cephanone in the interphases of Triton X-100 micelles and Triton X-100/n-C 5H 11 OH/H 2O(O/W) microemulsion droplets.
