尽管中国传统的民俗生活方式呈现出多姿多彩的事象,但是,当我们登堂入室、进行一番由表及里、去粗取精的研究工作之后,便会发现,传统民俗也内在地、规范性地包蕴着其主体性的特质。和谐性就是其特征之一,不论是协调、生趣的园林建筑、调和五味的饮食文化,还是温情脉脉的人情世态,无不生动地透射出这种特有的东方式的和谐情调。本文所要着意铺写的即是这种和谐性的诸多表象以及隐藏在这种表象背后的文化氛围。
