为了支援社会主义建设,我国的科学事业必须大力发展。为了奖励科学工作者在科学方面辛勤的创造性劳动,对祖国、对人民所作出的重大贡献,今年8月,国务院发布了“中国科学院科学奖金暂行条例”。中国科学院并根据这一条例决定在1956年内颁发第—次中国科学院科学奖金。这是促进我国科学事业发展的又一重要措施。全国的科学工作者将因这一条例的颁布和实施而得到鼓舞,并在科学研究工作中做出更多、更大的成绩。中国共产党和人民政府对科学工作者的关怀是无微不至的。中华人民共和国宪法第九十五条明确规定了:国家对从事科学事业的公民的创造性工作,给以鼓励和帮助。新中国建立以来,由於社会主义建设事业的开展,为我国的科学工作
In order to support the socialist construction, our scientific undertaking must be vigorously developed. In order to reward scientists for their hard work in science and their contribution to the motherland and people, in August this year, the State Council promulgated the Interim Regulations on Science Bonuses of the Chinese Academy of Science. According to this regulation, the Chinese Academy of Sciences decided in 1956 to issue the first scientific prize of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. This is another important measure to promote the development of science in our country. National scientific workers will be encouraged by the promulgation and implementation of this ordinance and will make more and greater achievements in scientific research. The CPC and the people’s government care for scientific workers in every possible way. Article 95 of the Constitution of the People’s Republic of China clearly stipulates that the state shall encourage and assist in the creative work of citizens engaged in scientific undertakings.
