漆器和铜镜的起源都可追溯到新石器时期,但两者最初的发展并无交集。春秋战国之际,随着漆器制作工艺的进步,便携美观的漆器在日常生活中占据越来越重要的地位,漆奁作为日用小型容器亦开始流行;几乎是同一时期,铜镜的铸造工艺开始进入勃兴期,装饰艺术也大为提升,加上漆奁和铜镜实用功能的进一步强化,使得这对组合迅速确定下来,发展到秦汉之时达到空前的繁荣,并延绵了两千多年之久。本文根据部分出土实例,对战国时期漆奁和铜镜结合的具体成因略作探析。
