The purpose of this experiment is to study the morphological changes and temperature rise of apical region of root canal after three kinds of laser irradiation. Totally 72 isolated single rooted teeth were used as the research object. After root crowding, conventional root canal preparation was performed. They were randomly divided into three groups, each of which was divided into three groups. The three kinds of laser were Nd: YAG laser, CO_2 laser and argon laser. The two thirds before laser irradiation were stained with 36% ammonium fluoride silver or Indian ink, and the remaining one third were used as blank control.
