伽达默尔诠释学思想中的相对主义抑或相对主义倾向历来为研究诠释学的学者所诟病,然实际上这些诟病皆源于对伽达默尔诠释学思想的误解;伽达默尔的诠释学在整个诠释学发展进程中也并非如其肯定者所宣扬的那样具有很高的地位;由于诠释学自身内部存在的矛盾以至于诠释学发展到当代越来越声销迹匿。
The relativism or relativism tendency in Gadamer’s hermeneutical thought has always been criticized by scholars studying hermeneutics. However, these criticisms originated from the misunderstanding of Gadamer’s hermeneutic thought. The interpretation of Gadamer Learning throughout the development of hermeneutics is not as highly commended as its affirmative; as a result of the internal contradictions of hermeneutics, the development of hermeneutics has become more and more concealed in the contemporary era.
