伴随全球化的不断深入,英语成为第一国际交流用语。因此,教育界对英语口语能力的培养和提高非常重视。在国内,英语教学在教育的不同阶段得到全面普及,高职院校也加大了学生英语口语能力的培养力度。然而,经过几年的英语教育,大部分学生仍然不能说一口流利的英语。究其原因,口语交际中形形色色的语用失误,导致交流不畅甚至是交际失败,而这正是由于对文化因素的重视不足引起的。基于此,针对上述问题进行客观的分析,并结合高职院校教学的实践,探讨提高学生语用能力的对策,以期能够对高职院校的英语教学工作者有所裨益。
With the deepening of globalization, English became the first language of international exchange. Therefore, the education community attaches great importance to the cultivation and improvement of spoken English. In China, English teaching has been widely popularized in different stages of education, while higher vocational colleges have also strengthened the cultivation of students’ oral English ability. However, after years of English education, most students still can not speak fluent English. The reason is that all kinds of pragmatic failures in oral communication lead to poor communication and even communication failure, which is caused by insufficient attention to cultural factors. Based on this, in view of the above objective analysis, combined with the practice of teaching in higher vocational colleges, to explore ways to improve students’ pragmatic competence in order to be able to higher vocational college English teaching workers benefit.
