本文参照Medgyes(1994)对NESTs(英语为母语教师)和Non-NESTs(英语为非母语教师)各方面的比较,以其研究为基础,对本校60名英语专业二年级两个班的本科学生进行了问卷调查及访谈研究。研究结果表明:(1)被试的学生对中外英语教师没有特别的偏爱。(2)直接影响学生对教师的偏爱是教师的“个性特点”、“语言掌握能力”、“课堂教学能力”、“反馈特点”等因素。(3)间接影响的因素有学生所处的“文化背景”、“社会环境”、“学生性格”等因素。
Based on the comparison of various aspects of NESTs and Non-NESTs (English as a non-native teacher), Medgyes (1994) based on the research, the undergraduate students of 60 second-year English majors Conducted a questionnaire survey and interviews. The results show that: (1) The students who are tested have no particular preference for English teachers both in China and abroad. (2) The direct influence on students’ preference for teachers is the teacher “personality traits ”, “language proficiency ”, “classroom teaching ability ”, “feedback features ” and other factors. (3) The indirect influence factors include the “cultural background”, “social environment”, “student personality” and other factors in the students.
