In recent years, the rapid development of online commerce gave birth to one after another “myth”. From Yahoo to Amazon, from GeoCities to Hotmail, their way of doing business and managing ideas is creating a whole new business model. The wealth of the founders of these cyber-myths can often accomplish hundreds of thousands of doublings in just a few years, and entrepreneurs have stepped into the richest ranks when the company is not yet profitable. This is an unimaginable and illogical phenomenon in industrialized society. Some people say it is a bubble. Some people also say that it represents the direction of the future economy. However, the “myths” created by these Internet companies are attracting more and more “followers.” In the following article, we hope to find a “mirror” that reflects the “online business model” by analyzing the “glimpses” of eight foreign online business models and their “followers” in China. In this “mirror”, we can see both ourselves and others in the same plane. Of course, our so-called “mirror” can only be regarded as a rough copper plate, which needs constant “grinding” to make the picture in front of you more and more clearly. In some ways, this article of more than 20,000 words is just a prologue. After all, commercial drama on the Internet has just begun.
