吹奏笛箫和歌唱的用气,应该说其原理和技术方法基本上是一致的。采用之方法的优劣,对吹与唱技艺的发挥起着非常重要的作用。很长时期以来,由于吹与唱者技艺的高低及其艺术实践的体会之同,从理论上曾提出了多种多样的呼吸运动方法,并且各自都提出许多理由来说明自己主张之正确而科学。在《中国音乐》1992年第4期上刊登的张维良撰写的《吹奏笛、箫呼吸的理论及其实践》一文中,以多种论据阐述了运用胸腹式呼吸方法是最合理而科学的。例如该文中写道:“在这以后西方吹管乐器与声乐呼吸方法一样,先后出现过多种呼吸方法,最终还是确定胸腹式呼吸为最合理。如吉科夫所说:‘胸腹式呼吸就成了最合理的呼吸形式了,这不仅适合于一般正常的条件,同时也适合于管乐器吹奏的条
