东圪流域位于三川河干支北川河中段东部的黄土丘陵沟壑区,是由三条平行分布的沟道构成的一个组合式流域。全流域总面积21.62km~2,涉及8个自然村,639户、2534口人。流域内共有大小支毛沟83条,梁峁52个,水土流失面积16.8km~2,占到了总面积的77.7％。恶劣的自然环境严重的水土流失形成了这里历史性的贫困和落后。
Dongliu basin is located in the northern part of the Beichuan hilly section of the middle reaches of the Beichuan River between the stem and branch of the Sanchuan River and is a combined basin formed by three parallel channels. The total basin area of 21.62km ~ 2, involving 8 villages, 639, 2534 people. There are 83 furrows and valleys in the basin, with 52 lamellas and soil erosion area of 16.8km ~ 2, accounting for 77.7% of the total area. Bad soil erosion caused by natural environment has formed the historical poverty and backwardness here.
