事有际会之期,人有恨晚之叹。欣逢盛世,能赏古说珍,以澡雪精神,人生之大幸也。书画家多高士,金石家多英才,皆能流连翰墨,追效前贤。今日诸藏家,借题跋以抒怀比兴,何其快哉?然又多有遗憾,为人诟病,何也?古今题跋,仁者见仁,智者见智,文章自有法度,诗词各有程式。吾文取例清人赵绍祖《古墨斋金石跋》者多矣,诸位可参阅之。吾文成,质之通人巨子,明吾心得,若心曲暗合,君与我相知。若不如君意,君当教我。
