本世纪六十年代以来,香港、台湾和南朝鲜、新加坡的经济发展先后进入了高速增长期,被人们誉为亚洲“四小龙”。考察一下他们发展的轨迹,会对人们有所启示。 五十年代以至更晚一些时间,“四小龙”的经济处于恢复性阶段。到了六十年代中期,则先后进入经济的高速增长期。从1966~1986年20年间,以国民生产总值或地区生产总值计算年均增长率都在8%以上。其中台湾增长速度达到9%,南朝鲜达到8.3%,香港和新加坡则分别为8.2%、8.1%。都高于西方发达国家同期年平均增长速度。进入八十年代,在整个世界经济增长放慢和自身经济增长基数变大的情况下,“四小龙”的经济仍然保持了较高速度的增长。1980~1987年,增长率都在6%以上。其中台湾的增长率为7.7%
Since the 1960s, the economic development of Hong Kong, Taiwan, South Korea and Singapore have successively entered a period of rapid growth and have been hailed as the “four little dragons” in Asia.
