中国国际航空公司(CA)是目前国内最大的一家全民所有制航空运输企业,经营着中国绝大部分国际航线和国内主要干线及通用航空业务,形成了以北京为中心的国际国内航空运输网络。公司正式成立于1988年7月1日,现为中国国际航空集团(1993年12月成立)的核心企业。现经营116条航线,其中国际和地区航线37条,国内航线89条。国际航线连接23个国家和地区的30个城市。机队自1955年建立以来,一直保持安全飞行记录。公司下设内蒙古、天津两个分公司。1995年完成运输总周转量19.3亿吨公里,旅客运输量646.1万人,货邮运输23万吨。与德国汉莎合资的AMECO是中国民航较大的一家航空维修公司。
Air China (CA) is currently the nation's largest air transport company owned by the whole people. It operates most of China's major international and domestic major lines and general aviation businesses and has formed an international and domestic air transport network centered on Beijing. The company was formally established in July 1, 1988, is now the China International Aviation Group (established in December 1993) of the core business. Now operating 116 routes, including international and regional routes 37, 89 domestic routes. International routes connect 30 cities in 23 countries and regions. The fleet has maintained a safe flight record since its establishment in 1955. The company set up under the two branches in Inner Mongolia, Tianjin. In 1995, the total turnover of transport was 1.93 billion ton-kilometers, with 6.461 million passengers and 230,000 tons of cargo and mail. AMECO, a joint venture with Lufthansa, is a larger aviation maintenance company in China Civil Aviation.
