采用电泳和丝网印刷法在薄膜金属电极上制备Ag与碳纳米管(CNT)的复合阴极,系统研究了纳米Ag对CNT阴极场发射性能的影响,并对此导电机理进行了分析。利用扫描电子显微镜表征纳米Ag和CNT阴极的形貌,电泳沉积的纳米Ag粒不团聚,纳米Ag粒较均匀和致密。并与CNT阴极高温共烧结后,纳米Ag粒迁移至CNT阴极中,填补了CNT阴极与金属底电极间的接触空缺,还与CNT交错连接,形成CNT与金属底电极间良好的电学接触,改善了金属底电极与CNT间的电子传输和热传输。实验结果表明,利用纳米Ag作为过渡层可以改善和提高CNT阴极的场发射性能、亮度和稳定性。
Electrodeposition and screen printing were used to fabricate a composite cathode of Ag and carbon nanotubes (CNTs) on a thin film metal electrode. The influence of nano-Ag on the CNT field emission performance was systematically investigated. The conduction mechanism was also analyzed. The morphologies of the nano-Ag and CNT cathodes were characterized by scanning electron microscopy. The nano-Ag particles deposited by electrophoresis were not aggregated, and the nano-Ag particles were more uniform and dense. After co-sintering with the CNT cathode, the nano-Ag particles migrate to the CNT cathode, filling the contact gap between the CNT cathode and the metal bottom electrode, and also interdigitating with the CNTs to form good electrical contact between the CNT and the metal bottom electrode to improve Electrons and heat transfer between metal bottom electrode and CNT. The experimental results show that the use of nano-Ag as a transition layer can improve and enhance the field emission properties of CNT cathode brightness and stability.
