随着中国新石器文化发展谱系的逐渐建立,追溯新石器文化的来源问题就自然地提上了中国考古学研究的日程。从总体上看,目前发现的新石器时代初期阶段遗存不多,并且多数集中在长江以南的南方地区。而新石器文化十分发达的黄河流域和北方地区,新石器时代初期遗存的发现和研究工作进展也十分缓慢。 With the gradual establishment of the pedigree of the development of Neolithic culture in China, the issue of tracing the source of neolithic culture is naturally put on the agenda of Chinese archeology. Generally speaking, there are not many survivors discovered in the early Neolithic period, and most of them are concentrated in the south of the Yangtze River. The discovery of the Neolithic remains in the Yellow River basin and the northern part of the country where the Neolithic culture is well developed has also been slow.
