写作是语言输出最重要的环节之一,是学生必备的一种语言交际能力。学生的写作水平能帮助教师更加全面地了解学生英语掌握情况。高中英语教学大纲在课程目标中明确规定:“高中英语应强调在进一步发展学生综合语言运用能力的基础上,着重提高学生用英语获取信息、处理信息、分析问题和解决问题的能力,特别注重提高学生用英语进行思维和表达的能力。”在近些年的英语教学中,学生听说能力差和哑巴英语的现象已受到关注和改善;阅读能力不强、阅读量太少的问题也已得到了注意。但是,人们对写的教学意义就显得估计不足。为了全面了解高一学生的英语写作的状况,摸索出一条适合高一学生交际需求和认知发展水平的写作教学新模式,笔者对新疆昌吉市一中高一学生的英语写作现状及其原因进行了调查研究。

In order to fully understand the status of high school students’ English writing and find out a new mode of writing teaching that suits the needs of high school students and the level of cognitive development, the writer conducted a survey on the present situation and the reasons of English writing for one-on-one freshmen in Changji, Xinjiang Research.
