四川武隆县东邻彭水,西界南川与涪陵,南接贵州道真县,北与丰都接壤,辖37个乡镇,共39万人口,是国家级山区贫困县。“八五”期间,在各级党政的高度重视和关心支持下,在认真贯彻卫生工作方针的实践中,卫生事业得以迅速发展,为全县人民的健康事业作出了显著的贡献。 目前,全县三级医疗保健网得以形成和巩固。1996年全县卫生总投入291万元,有乡镇以上医疗卫生机构66个,在职职工665人,在578名医技人员中,中专及以上学历者占77.85％,中级及以上职称
Sichuan Wulong County is adjacent to Pengshui to the east, Nanchuan and Liling to the west, Guizhou Zhenzheng County to the south, Fengdu to the north, and has jurisdiction over 37 towns and townships, with a total population of 390,000 people. It is a state-level mountainous poverty county. During the “Eighth Five-Year Plan” period, under the utmost attention and support from the party and government at all levels, in the practice of conscientiously implementing the principles of health work, the health industry has been able to develop rapidly and made significant contributions to the health of the county’s people. At present, the county’s tertiary healthcare network has been formed and consolidated. In 1996, the county’s total investment in health was 2.91 million yuan. There were 66 medical and health institutions above the township level and 665 employees were employed. Of the 578 medical and technical personnel, 77.85% were secondary or higher education graduates, and intermediate or higher titles.
