党的十一届三中全会以来,随着党的工作重点的转移,统计部门的作用日益显示出来,党和政府也更加重视统计事业的发展。近年来,统计机构,日臻健全,统计人员已由过去的几十人发展到今天拥有24个处室、234人的综合统计机构——江苏省统计局。机构扩大了,人员增加了,办公用房和职工宿舍严重不足的问题就提到日程上来了。但江苏省统计局从1949年成立至1980年的30年间,从未进行过一砖一瓦的基本建设。办公场所分散、拥挤、住房破旧狭小,一直成为困扰统计干部安心工作的一大难题,一定程度上影响了我省统计事业的进一步发展。
Since the Third Plenary Session of the Eleventh Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, with the shift of the party’s work priorities, the role of the statistics department has become increasingly evident, and the party and the government attach more importance to the development of statistics. In recent years, statistical agencies have been getting better and stronger. Statisticians have evolved from dozens of people in the past to the Statistical Bureau of Jiangsu Province, which has 24 offices and 234 people today. With the expansion of the organization, the increase of personnel, the serious shortage of office space and staff quarters mentioned the schedule. However, the Bureau of Statistics of Jiangsu Province has never carried out a brick-and-mortar construction every 30 years from its establishment in 1949 to 1980. The decentralized and crowded office space and the shabby housing have always become a major problem that plagued the cadres’ work of reassuring their cadres. To a certain extent, this has affected the further development of the statistical work in our province.
