农村寄宿制初中为贫困偏远地区的学生创造了便利的就学条件,提供了学生自主生活能力提高的环境,为贫困地区学生改变命运搭建了平台,但寄宿生生活在相对封闭的环境中,与走读生相比,他们与父母接触较少,家庭缓冲时间少,来自家庭的情感支持少,教育引导不当,极易产生各种心理问题。有调查结果表明:寄宿学生比非寄宿学生在多个维度上更易表现出轻度或轻度以上的心理问题,其中较为突出的问题有学习压力较大、情绪不稳定、适应不良、偏执、焦虑、敌对和抑郁等。寄宿生心理健康状况不容乐观,对寄宿生进行心理健康教育迫在眉睫。
