人人都说南京是座古城,六朝古都,古在何处?又为何古?经历十朝都会兴衰的古都南京,东吴、东晋、宋、齐、梁、陈曾经在这里开创了300年璀璨的六朝文化。但因历史久远,六朝文物遗存已近殆尽,只有六朝陵墓石刻成为六朝不多的见证。其形制硕大,雕琢精湛,堪称体现魏晋时期中国南方地区石雕艺术高度发展水平的艺术珍品,也是南京影响全国乃至世界的独特历史文化景观。
