NF-кB is a multifunctional nuclear transcription factor. In multiple myeloma (MM), its continued activation can enhance the expression of adhesion molecules, promote its secretion of interleukin 6, promote the proliferation of myeloma cells, and by attenuating the death receptor-mediated signaling pathway, Maintaining mitochondrial stability and other ways to inhibit myeloma cell apoptosis, leading to disease. However, NF-кB-targeted drugs can directly inhibit its activity, inhibit proliferation and induce apoptosis, thus providing new prospects for the treatment of MM. This article reviews the role of NF-кB in the pathogenesis of MM and its potential as a targeted therapy.
