临夏回族自治州于1956年11月成立,到今年已经40周年了。40年来,在党的领导下,经过各族人民的团结奋斗,全州的经济和社会各项事业取得了显著的成绩。特别自改革开放以来,临夏州的发展变化更大,全州呈现出政治安定,社会稳定,民旅团结,宗教和顺,经济、社会发展加快,人民群众安居乐业的喜人局面。1994年,国家民委、国家体改委又将临夏州列为全国自治地方改革开放实验区,为临夏的进一步发展注入了生机和活力。本刊本期特辟专页,登载专稿,以示对临夏州庆的祝贺。
Linxia Hui Autonomous Prefecture was established in November 1956, to the 40th anniversary this year. Over the past 40 years, under the leadership of the party, remarkable achievements have been made in the state’s economic and social undertakings through the united struggle of the people of all ethnic groups. Since the reform and opening up in particular, the development and changes in Linxia Prefecture have been even greater. The state has shown gratifying signs of political stability, social stability, solidarity among people and people, harmonious religion, accelerated economic and social development, and people’s livelihood. In 1994, the State Ethnic Affairs Commission and the National Commission of Economic Restructuring, in turn, listed Linxia Prefecture as a pilot zone for reform and opening up in autonomous regions of the country, injecting vigor and vitality into the further development of Linxia.
