肯尼思·伯克是20世纪美国重要的文学理论家,其理论见解与理论体系对继之以后的西方文论如解构主义、新马克思主义、社会学批评、文化研究等都有着极其深远的影响。本文拟以伯克早期一部重要理论著作《文学形式哲学——象征行为研究》为例,从理论渊源、术语化体系建构与理论影响三个层面考察伯克的文学理论思想。对伯克文学理论的系统梳理有助于我国国内学界增进对伯克的了解,改善伯克在我国文学理论界被忽视的现状。
Kenneth Burke is an important literary theorist in the 20th century in the United States. His theory and theoretical system have far-reaching implications for the following western literary theories such as deconstructionism, neo-Marxism, sociological criticism and cultural studies influences. This paper intends to take Burke an important theoretical work “literary form philosophical - symbolic behavior” as an example, from the theoretical origin, the construction of the terminology system and the theoretical impact of Burk’s literary theory. The systematic review of Burk’s literary theory can help our domestic academia to enhance his understanding of Burke and improve Burk’s status in the neglected part of Chinese literary theory.
