9月9日至10日,公安部消防局在湖北省宜昌市召开了全国消防宣传工作座谈会,13个总队的分管领导、部分总队的防火监督部领导和各总队的宣传处长参加了会议。公安部消防局长孙伦少将出席会议并作重要讲话。 会议对1994年以来全国消防宣传工作进行了认真总结,安排了经验交流,组织了宣传成果展示,使与会人员大开眼界,大长见识,大大增强了做好消防宣传工作的信心。会议认为,近年来全国消防宣传工作初步形成了政府出面,社会各方面联合运作的整体格局,各级消防部门充分利用和发挥社会新闻媒介的作用,扩大了消防宣传的覆盖面,增加了宣传力度,能紧紧围绕消防中心工作,抓住难点、热点问题深入宣传。同时注重消防教育普及工作,推动消防知识进学校,不断丰富宣传内容,不断调动新的形式,注意加强消防宣传队伍建设,从而使宣传质量跃上一个新台阶。
