柱型苹果品种选育项目始于1994年,旨在将苹果柱型生长习性与其它优良性状结合起来。结果表明:杂种后代的生长势、早实性,对白粉病、轮纹病和绵蚜的抗性等与杂交组合有关。果实大小、果形、果肉硬度、风味品质、花期和果实成熟期为多基因控制的性状。筛选出了一个柱型基因(Co)的AFLP标记并成功地将其转为SCAR标记,其可以用于柱型苹果杂种的早期选择。几个优系的田间实验正在进一步进行中。
Columnar apple variety breeding project began in 1994, aims to combine the apple columnar growth habits with other excellent traits. The results showed that the growth potential, early solidity, resistance to powdery mildew, ring rot disease and cotton aphid were related to hybrid combinations. Fruit size, fruit shape, fruit firmness, flavor quality, florescence and fruit maturity are polygenic controlled traits. An AFLP marker of a columnar gene (Co) was screened and successfully turned into a SCAR marker, which can be used for early selection of cylindrical apple hybrids. Several excellent lines of field experiments are underway.
