Japan imported 4000 tons of V 2 O 5 in 1985, a decrease from the same period of last year. Production and consumption of ferrovanadium decreased by 5% and 10% respectively over last year. Ferro-vanadium imports from January to September were 277 tons, up from the same period of last year
