为了使艺术档案适应当前文化艺术事业发展的需要,文化部和国家档案局经过认真调查研究,广泛征求意见,已共同制定并印发了《艺术档案工作暂行办法》,其宗旨就是要把我国宝贵的文化艺术财富科学地、准确地、系统地保存下来,使它在繁荣和发展社会主义艺术事业中发挥作用。希望各艺术单位按照本办法提出的要求,结合本单位的实际情况,设立相应的机构,配备一定数量并能胜任工作的干部,集中统一管理本单位的全部艺术档案,建立艺术档案的管理制度,把艺术档案工作真正纳入到艺术事业管理工作中去。各级档案业务管理机关要密切配合文化主管机关,加强对艺术档案工作的业务指导,使艺术档案工作更好地为繁荣我国艺术事业服务。
