Rainfall splashing occupies a very important position in slope erosion. Rainfall characteristics and underlying surface factors are two important factors that affect splash erosion. The motivation for splashing mainly comes from the energy of raindrops falling from the sky. Since the beginning of Splash Erosion studies by JO L. Lows and W. Ellison, many scholars have done a great deal of work and have established various empirical relationships. At present, people are paying more and more attention to the use of experimental simulations and field orientation observations to find more suitable and more explicitly physical indicators of rainfall erosivity or rainfall characterization in order to establish a better slope
