四川省情报学会地方科技情报研究会于三月初在自贡市召开了一次专题研究科技情报有偿服务的会议。会上,各地情报所相互交流了有偿服务的情况及经验,初步探讨了关于有偿服务的理论问题。与会同志认为,“有偿”只不过是情报服务的手段,不是情报的目的。如果过份地追求“有偿”,甚至追求“高偿”,就会偏离科技情报工作的社会主义方向。科技情报机构实行有偿服务是为了推动科技情报事业的前进,提高科技情报工作者的工作责任感,改善服务条件,更好地为用户服务,同时也可提高用户对情报工作的认识,使广大用户懂得科技情报是有价值和使
