December 15, 2012 The separate version of the application applied to the “Daily” iPad ceased to be released. At this point from the “The Daily” market less than two years. News Corp. released “The Daily” in early 2011 and placed high hopes for it, but for the past year or so it had underperformed and lost millions of dollars. News Corp has decided to suspend publication because of the inability to secure a large enough mass audience to prove that its business model is long-term sustainable. The business's technology and other assets, including its employees, were transferred to News Corp.'s New York Post unit.
