The impact of urbanization on natural vegetation appears to be homogenized to some extent. It is noteworthy whether the same problems are caused by artificially-influenced artificial plants. In this study, the landscape afforestation of 45 residential areas in 10 cities of the Yangtze River Delta was used as object. The Jaccard index was used to study the similarity of species composition at three scales of residential area, city and province. The results showed that with the increase of scale, the species similarity increased significantly, Jaccard index reached 0.45 and 0.50 at the level of city and province, and the similarity of species decreased gradually with the increase of distance between cities; It did not effectively reduce the similarity between cities, but increased the similarity between provinces. It shows that there is a single species of landscape afforestation in the residential area of the Yangtze River Delta, and the native species is particularly prominent, presenting a tendency of homogenization.
