自主教育作为适应时代发展、社会需求的崭新教育理论体系,有着丰富而独特的内涵。自主教育主要培养教育者自信、自立、自强、自律的精神,促其身心全面发展;培养受教育者的主动意识和学习能力,促其主动发展。其内容是开发受教育者的体能和智能并完善其人格,原则是以人为本。以前由于应试教育的影响,自主教育的工作大部分落在了父母身上,随着素质教育的推进,自主教育的工作责无旁贷地落在了教师身上。通过对自主教育理论的追根溯源,我们发现教师只能诱发学生去理解和掌握
