This article describes a new technique to determine the amount of platelet deposition on in vitro experiments using radioimmunoassay with monoclonal antibody 6c9 specific for human platelet glycoprotein IIb-IIIa. The test monoclonal antibody 6c9 specifically binds to human platelet glycoprotein IIb-IIIa without cross-reacting with monocytes and other white blood cells.
