目前少数民族地区中小学生英语的教学仍然以应试教学为主,只注重学生的语法传授,强调死记硬背,把口语放在次要地位,导致大部分学生走进了“应试英语”、“聋哑英语”的死胡同。在素质教育的背景下,如何提高中小学生英语口语水平,成为了少数民族地区中小学教学的当务之急。本文认为,可以通过提高教师的英语口语水平、转变教学观念、在校园里开设英语角等方式提高学生的英语口语水平。
At present, the teaching of English for primary and middle school students in ethnic minority areas still focuses on exam-based teaching, focusing only on students’ grammar teaching, emphasizing rote learning, and placing spoken language on a secondary level, resulting in most students entering the “Test English”. “Deaf English ” dead end. In the context of quality education, how to improve the oral English level of primary and middle school students has become an urgent task for elementary and middle schools in minority areas. This article believes that students can improve their oral English by improving their oral English, changing their teaching concepts, and setting up English corners on campus.
