由長青翡翠珠寶(深圳)有限公司和北京玉器廠聯合製作的大型玉雕《中國佛教四大名山》系列山子,近日在北京完工并召開了鑒定會。作品以中國四大菩薩的道場佛教勝地五臺山、蛾眉山、普陀山、九華山為主題,選用一塊1000多公斤重的翡翠分割成四塊雕琢而成。四件玉雕作品分別命名為“清涼世界” (五臺山)、“普賢境界”(峨眉山)、“海天佛國”(普陀山)和“九蓮聖境”(九華山)。作品通過刻畫文殊、普賢、觀音、地藏四大菩薩的端莊形象及坐騎表現了菩薩的智慧於佛教的博大精深,并通過精雕細琢的古刹禪林、奇峯異石和雲海松濤表現了中國佛教名山的壯觀景象。
The large-scale jade carving “Four Famous Buddhist Mountains in China” series produced by Evergreen Jade Jewelry (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. and Beijing Jade Factory recently completed and held an appraisal meeting in Beijing. The works are based on the Buddhism sites Wutai Mountain, Hedui Mountain, Putuoshan Mountain and Jiuhuashan Mountain, the Buddhism sites of the Four Bodhisattvas in China, and are divided into four carvings by using an emerald weighing over 1,000 kilograms. The four pieces of jade carving are respectively entitled “Cool World” (Mount Wutai), “Samantabhadra” (Mount Emei), “Haitian Buddhism” (Putuo Mountain) and “Jiu Lian Sheng Jing” (Jiuhuashan). Through the portraits and mounts depicting the four great Bodhisattvas of Manjusri, Samantabhadra, Kwan-yin and Ksitigarbha, the works show the wisdom of Buddhism in Buddhism. Through the ancient temples of Zen Buddhism, Qifengyishisand Yunhai-Songtao, the Buddhist monuments represent the famous Buddhist mountains in China Spectacular sight.
