红螺是我国近海产的软体动物,具有较大的经济价值,其肉味鲜美,一向为人们所重视。文献曾分别对红螺的形态、生态、生殖和胚胎发育作过较详细的描述。红螺的DNA是遗传信息的载体,其基因按时空顺序表达的调控,使它出现生长、发育、分化等现象。但迄今尚未见过这方面的报道。因此,我们以红螺肝为材料,先对其细胞核中的生物大分子(如DNA和RNA等)进行初步研究,作为探寻红螺生长、发育、分化等的生化变化的起点,为水产养殖业提供分子生物学理论基础。
