十六届六中全会通过了《中共中央关于构建社会主义和谐社会若干重大问题的决定》,是我们党从开创中国特色社会主义事业新局面的全局高度提出的一项重大战略部署。腐败是构建和谐社会的巨大障碍,已成为现阶段社会上最不和谐的因素之一,深入开展党风廉政建设和反腐败斗争,是构建和谐社会的内在要求和重要途径。各级纪检监察机关要认真贯彻《决定》精神,明确历史责任,全面履行职责,适应形势发展,调整工作部署,加大反腐倡廉工作力度,为构建和谐社会创造良好环境。
The Sixth Plenary Session of the 16th CPC Central Committee passed the “Decision of the CPC Central Committee on Several Major Issues concerning Building a Harmonious Socialist Society,” a major strategic plan put forward by our party from the overall situation of creating a new situation in the cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics. Corruption is a huge obstacle to building a harmonious society and has become one of the most discordant factors in society at this stage. To carry out the party’s work style and the building of an honest and clean government and the fight against corruption are the inherent requirements and important channels for building a harmonious society. Discipline inspection and supervision organs at all levels should conscientiously implement the spirit of “determination”, clarify their historical responsibilities, fulfill their duties in an all-round manner, adapt themselves to the development of the situation, readjust their work arrangements, intensify efforts in combating corruption and upholding integrity, and create a favorable environment for building a harmonious society.
