英语老师都有这样的感觉:小学生刚开始学英语的时候,个个都表现出了极大的热情,随着教学的深入,学生的热情却渐渐降温,是什么使他们有这样大的转变?我认为关键是学生的“成就感”在流失,而成就感可以说是小学生英语教学成功的心理基础。心理学家认为:儿童的心理发展与成就感有密切的联系,儿童能从通过克服困难取得的成就感中获得身心的愉悦,从而增强自信心和学习的兴趣,为成功打下坚实的基础。那么,如何在低年级英语教学中培养学生的成就感呢?笔者根据自己的教学经验,谈以下几点看法。
English teachers all felt that when they first started to learn English, primary school students all showed great enthusiasm. With the deepening of teaching, the enthusiasm of students gradually cooled down. What made them have such a big change? I think the key is the student’s “sense of achievement” is lost, and sense of accomplishment can be said to be the psychological basis for the success of primary school English teaching. Psychologists believe that children’s psychological development is closely linked with their sense of accomplishment. Children can gain physical and mental pleasure from the sense of achievement gained through overcoming difficulties, so as to enhance their confidence and interest in learning so as to lay a solid foundation for their success. So, how to cultivate students’ sense of accomplishment in the lower grade English teaching? The author according to his own teaching experience, talk about the following views.
